My daughter Erinn…
Well the time has come and she is officially done school…we celebrated Erinn’s graduation from McMaster University yesterday at our home. Thank you to my wonderful husband Ken (the best party planner ever), the event was spectacular.
No words will ever fully express how I feel and what this day meant to me. Pride. Excitement. Joy for you. Sadness now that it’s done. Erinn, you are a gift to the world. You are not mine, but a gift that came through me… for me to give to the planet.
With humble gratitude. Thank you for choosing me as your mom. You are not only my dearest friend, my motivational mentor, my spiritual life coach, my focus, and my loyal confidant, you also my daughter.
I look at you everyday with grateful eyes wondering how I could have been so fortunate. I’ve never had to discipline you- I always reasoned with you. You had a mature, evolved and calming soul from birth, that resonated within me just having you around. Having you under my wing was the best thing that ever happened to me. It gave me purpose….you gave ME life.
Yesterday you graduated with TOP honours from McMaster University, on the Deans Honour List no less.
I am more than proud. I am in awe of your brilliance, structure and strong discipline. I celebrate with you your passion and tenacity for life. This winning combination will make you the entrepreneur rock star you so deserve to be.
Erinn, I am the president of your Fan Club and I have a ton of others too that want to join… Michael, Ken, Poppa Russ (from heaven), Nanny Colleen, Nanny Marie, Poppa Lawrence, your Dad, Tim, Amy, Gene, Lolo, Shannon, Peter, Lizzie, Connor, Tyson, Zoe, Molly, Lianne, Sonja, Lynn, Cathy, Ross, Branden, Jocelyn, Lauren,.. Just to name a few, who will sign up to this club in a second.
You have a beautiful presence my dear; one that entrances people when you walk in a room. You are a centered, humbled powerful woman, that is rare to see at this age (or really any age) in life.
I am so grateful I get these front row seats to continue to watch this journey unfold.
Congratulations on such a magnificent day. You, more than anyone I know, deserved it. It was all yours.
Love
Mom xo

Beautiful – brought tears to my eyes. This resonates with how I feel about my daughter who is only 17 months and already amazing me everyday. Congratulations!
Kelly that is just beautiful! Erinn is truly blessed to have such an amazing and wonderful mother 🙂
