I’m featuring our Raspberry Coconut Squares today! It’s a super easy dessert recipe, from Kelly’s Bake Shoppe, and it’s also in our book, Made With Love. We discovered there was a slight error in the book (thank you to a dedicated fan – Suzanne M., for pointing it out) and thought we would try to share this corrected version asap. ‘Tis the Christmas Season at Kelly’s and our 3rd Anniversary

Sunday, December 6th, (tomorrow) marks a really big day for us. Three years ago we opened the doors of our dream, Kelly’s Bake Shoppe. It has been an incredible 3 years and now, on top of it all, including ranking 3rd in the WORLD on Buzzfeed’s bucket list, we even have a cookbook, coming out in April 2016. It’s called Made With Love, (published by Penguin Random House). There have been so many triumphs and learning curves thrown at us along the way and yet, here we are still standing. We do have so much to be grateful for and so much to celebrate and that is what keeps me sane every single day. I simply rejoice in all the smiles and good we are able to do for others and that is my definition of success. It’s all about, “Believing in Magic” and this is what we do every day.…

Thanksgiving Gratefulness

With love & gratefulness & thankfulness, Erinn Weatherbie and I would like to say to each and every one of you, “Thank you for coming into our lives”. We are this simple mom and daughter team with a dream and a passion to live life differently. We don’t know how to do it any other way. Conventional food, conventional thoughts and a conventional life is not how we do it and we love living on this edge of pushing our lives into something most of us have not ever been a part of. Why I Live and Work (and Play) in Downtown Burlington

I just wanted to take today to share with you all as to how incredible it is to live, work and play in Downtown Burlington. I am so blessed! I wanted to share with you why living this way has become so important to me and to focus on all the good stuff. I sometimes don’t realize how great I have it until we travel to other towns and cities and get a chance to see how others live. We always drive away and say, “Wow, we have it so good back home in Burlington!” With a population of about 187,000 in the City of Burlington overall and a downtown core population of about 6,500, I’m beginning to really be grateful and love and enjoy the more quiet, yet vibrant, hustle & bustle of Burlington over living in Toronto from my previous years. As the years pass, I experience more blissed-out mornings…
