How unbelievable…It still has me in shock when they read out our names for these THREE awards at the Toronto Vegetarian Food Festival (the Biggest one in North America I might add…) on Sunday night. We won these awards against some very tough competition and we just wouldn’t have been able to do it without our fans…THANK YOU so much. xo

As you can see, Erinn (my best bud ever!) and I were having a very hard time containing ourselves…..

What an honour to bestow upon us….Thank you to everyone who voted for us. Humbly, we are so very grateful for all of your love and support since day one. Erinn and I were thrilled to have our two main men with us too….Ken and Mike. We need to give a special thank you to them both for sticking by us every day with our crazy dream to change the world and the way people eat.

As I said in the acceptance speech at the awards ceremony… “We want to give a extraordinary, special thank you to the animals. Thank you for being so patient with us. Thank you for your steadfast, eternal and unconditional love and devotion to us. Thank you for your patience with us humans while we figure out the right way to live and sustain our bodies and this planet. You all (the animals) were our catalyst in creating LettuceLove Cafe and Kelly’s Bake Shoppe and our inspiration to make a difference on this planet… and to know we are all getting healthier because of it is purely a fringe-benefit. Thank you so much.”

I’ve been telling everyone I can tell about the wonderful surprises in both locations. I’m trying to redirect people that have been going to Toronto for good vegan fare to come and see you! I’ve been living on your Buddha Bowl recipe all summer!

    • Thank you Joanne….That is why we do what we do: to make people so happy in their lives they have to share the wonderful surprises 🙂 and that is what makes this world a better place. So glad you like the Buddha Bowl Recipe. 🙂

Was so excited when Kindfoods opened in Burlington. I think I was one of there first customers. I came from a English and Scottish background, so meat eaters. I became Vegan after I tasted the great food at Kindfoods and have not gone back. The food at Kindfoods and Kellys bake shop is amazing. Kudos to you all Kelly, Erinn, Mike and all the staff. So happy for all of you. You deserve it you have all worked very hard to make this happen. :0)
