How to Deal With Darkness On Social Media.

Dear Haters, Trolls and Darkness.

*Now that I got your attention* ❤️

I recognize and see all of you your with loving, pink hearts inside your beautiful cavernous chests. I see you all trying to be the positive role models and radiate kindness wherever you go. I don’t know about you all but are you not compelled to say something about the rise in the negative, hateful, stomach-turning, fake and deliberately anonymous emails and comments that come un-welcomed into our inbox and social media feeds?

I am seeing a noticeable increase in it every week.

The hate. The judgement. The absolute harshness. The sheer nonsense that these humans think they might know what’s best for us and our lives and we consequently, turn into their dartboards. 🙏

Judgement is a killer my friends.

When you troll and nasty stuff comes out of your mouth, you are judging and making assumptions that you know someone’s life better than they do.

The truth is ‘darkness’ has a desperate need to feel better because their level of self-worth is so low, it is vitally important to bring others down to their level to make them feel better. This is the truth.

It works this way for darkness: Once the thrill of hurting someone is over, they are left with only themselves. Alone. Miserable. Unsatisfied. (then repeat the cycle).

I’ve read one too many times on my feeds: I’m too ugly. Too out there. Opinionated. I should “close my business”. I’m too old. (there’s way more too and a ton of more adjectives and descriptors).

This will never work on me. Ever. 🙏

The narrative I choose to allow to rattle and consume my soul is ‘optimism and love’. I stay in my own business and encourage this for everyone else too. What you think of me is “none of my business” and it only hurts you…not me.

There is no way out of the “misery-merry-go-round” except to face your darkness my friend. Step into the light, the love, the joy because that is all there is ✨

We are ALL miracles. The chance of us being born and simply co-existing with each other on our beautiful planet is 1 in 400 TRILLION. I am so grateful for these odds and that I won this human life lottery. I have some big goals and big passion for what I do every day. I choose to EVOLVE and not REPEAT old out-dated patterns that do nothing but perpetuate human suffering. And if you don’t like what you see and read, then by all means block me, stop following me and please move on.
