I started out today wanting to share some profound message with you and have found myself simply wanting to say “thank you”. It’s a simple message but when I said it aloud, I could feel it resonate so deeply, I was moved to tears.
Thank you for my life.
Thank for to the Universe for supporting my dreams.
Thank you the Universe for giving me gifts I never knew were ‘gifts’.
Thank you for giving me Mother Earth roots that go deep into this planet (to protect it).
Thank you for giving me the gift to be able to help others.
Thank you for allowing me to feel and have the human quality called empathy.
Thank you for this thrilling life. I am so grateful.
Thank you for giving me the endless capacity to love.
Thank you for blessing me with the strength of being a woman
….and the courage too face anything and to take it ALL on.
I have grown in ways unimaginable to me only weeks earlier and today, I find myself celebrating who I am becoming. It’s funny that we think we know who we are and go about living our life daily and then something happens that you felt just took your breath away, something that you never dreamt would have ever happened. How we cope and handle these situations allows us to grow to not be afraid to face these beautiful, ‘life-changing’ moments that we thought, only moments earlier would have been debilitating. We survive. We thrive. We not only get stronger but better and most importantly, hopefully more in love with ourselves.
We all change at a rate that is so fast that in mere seconds – we don’t even realize it. Our cells change, our minds change our neuron pathways get re-calibrated. The self that you are right now, in this moment, is a different one you were before you read this article and you are even a different person that awoke this morning. Maybe it was a word or a new thought that shifted you and allowed you to perceive your life in a whole new perspective. This is the impermanent nature of you and me. Every single thing around you is changing all the time. This is LIVING and learning to understand how to love ourselves more deeply.
That’s the reality of this moment. Breathe it all in, I don’t want you to miss it. I almost did.

If we are not fully ourselves, truly in the present moment, we miss everything.
