Pay attention to the fear and doubt that run rampant in your body and mind – but don’t let them RUN your life.

Having fear and doubt race through your mind with emotions can be honestly, stressful and debilitating – but sit with this: IT IS NATURAL. In fact, it is a GOOD THING! It means you are on the brink of expanding beyond your current capacity. It is in the AWARENESS of it that we can make a change.

Fear and doubt are left over remnants from our primitive brain. Our old thinking. Our old traumas. Our old multi-generational leftover DNA that we dragged along with us to our present “today”. It is true! Our ancestors affect us whether we like it or not.

Our old brains want us to stay small. Keep safe….Don’t venture into the “unknown”….“Who knows what could happen to you?!”. Holy smokes! It has power! Imagine you are about to open yourself up to new possibilities in your life and push yourself for more. All of a sudden, you’ve been asked to speak at a BIG event. “Public speaking?!! What?!! Are you kidding me?!” Even though you truly WANT to do it more than anything else in your life, your mind will do all kinds of things to trick you out of it!

“Why would you want to do that?” “Who are YOU to think you have anything smart to say?” “You’re going to sound soooo stupid.” “I hope you don’t make a fool of yourself”. Right? We are shamed with the automatic non-stop chatter of our minds.

Yep,….we ALL know the drill.

The part where many people get tripped up is diving deep into the fear and doubt as if they’re REAL and letting them run their life. That is a deep dark well of craziness and can literally hijack your life for days, weeks, months, and even years. Ever wonder WHY people stay regrettably and sadly in the same relationship or job for years upon years? (With solid “excuses” too). They are listening to fear and doubt. They are allowing this fear and doubt creep in and talk them out of their greatness.

Listening to fear and doubt will keep you small. We sense love….but we don’t believe in it. We truly feel it deep within and we question our worthiness. We save our faith for fear. Ultimately we know that there is a quiet voice in all of us that longs for something better. This is our truth.

INSTEAD: Look fear and doubt in the face and say, “I am bigger than you! Thank you for your care but I got this. The Universe is opening me to my GREATNESS and I am going for it.” Look yourself in the mirror and say, “This is my life. My joy! My choice. I and worthy of love and I am worthy to go for the greatest version of me!”.

Surrender to all the possibilities that the Universe will bring forward to you in ways you cannot even imagine.

What I know for sure is, “What I believe, is what I receive” and I truly know too is that when I go into fear and worry, it is my prayer for chaos. In every moment of our divine human experiences in life, we have the choice to move into fear or move into love. WE ALL DO THIS. If you don’t believe me, ask any successful person you can find and ask them if they experience fear and doubt in their life and guaranteed, they will tell you, “EVERY DAMN DAY!”.

It’s time to throw our hands up in the air AND JUMP IN! Inspire ourselves! Inspire our joy! Inspire our lives! Inspire OUR HEARTS!

“I choose JOY”.

“I choose to follow my passion no matter what”.

“I choose LOVE every time”.

“I am choosing to play LARGE and honour my gifts to the world and stay in my powerful light.

You are so welcome! Know that the negative chatter is all an illusion. It’s our ego really trying to protect us. Wish it well and push it off.
      XO

  2. I feel the shame creep up when I say no. The excuses kill me. The fear kills me too. Thank you for sharing.

It is a cycle we stay on. The key is to not let us take it down the road into weeks, months and years…Then our personality becomes accustomed to all of this and we get comfortable with the fear taking us over.
